Mike has been an expert in digital media for 15 years, working across broadcast, education and culture. He has recently taken up a new position as a partner at Artfinder to lead business development and cultural partnerships across the UK and Europe. Alongside his role at Artfinder, Mike consults in the area of urban development and is currently working with Expedition Engineering on a number of projects.
Previously, Mike spent five years as Director of Digital Media at Kew Gardens, where he wrote and implemented their digital strategy and delivered a suite of products to promote, connect and sell Kew’s work.
Mike is a member of international charity ActionAid’s Digital Advisory Board and a member of the Speaker’s Advisory Council on Public Engagement at Parliament. He is also a visiting lecturer at Middlesex University, and publishes and speaks regularly.
His other experience includes founding a digital agency, delivering cross-platform projects at Channel 4, and commissioning cultural learning products at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
